This site sets no cookies, has no accounts and does no tracking, with one exception: it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. That service is cookieless and reports only aggregate figures, such as how many people viewed a page, without identifying you.

The Golden Lanthorn app

The app runs locally on your computer. Your games, your saves and your settings stay on your computer.

When you ask it to, the app can look up a game's details, such as its title, author and cover, on IFDB, the Interactive Fiction Database. It does this only when you ask.
